Privacy policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how DA FABIO handles information used to operate the Storefront, process orders, provide support, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. It should be read together with the information presented during checkout and any consent controls shown to the visitor.

2. Information collected

Depending on how the Storefront is used, information may include contact details, billing and delivery information, order contents, support messages, device and browser information, security events, consent choices and transaction references. DA FABIO should collect only information reasonably needed for the stated purpose.

3. How information is obtained

Information may be supplied directly by a customer, created when the Storefront or checkout is used, received from a payment or delivery provider, or generated to protect the service against fraud and abuse. Optional marketing information should be handled separately from information required to complete an order.

4. Purposes of processing

Information may be used to create and fulfill orders, arrange delivery, communicate about a purchase, provide customer support, maintain security, prevent fraud, keep accounting records, resolve disputes, improve the Storefront and comply with legal requirements. Each use should have an appropriate legal basis under the law that applies to DA FABIO.

5. Payments

Payment credentials are handled by the selected payment provider through the secure checkout flow. The Storefront may receive transaction identifiers, status, amount and limited customer information needed to reconcile an order, but it does not need to store complete card credentials. The payment provider's own privacy terms may also apply.

6. Service providers and recipients

Information may be shared with providers that support hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, communications, analytics, order administration, delivery or professional advice, but only to the extent needed for their role. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect customers, DA FABIO or the service.

7. Retention and security

Information should be retained only for as long as needed for the purposes described, legitimate record-keeping, dispute handling and applicable legal requirements. DA FABIO and its providers should use proportionate organizational and technical measures, while recognizing that no online service can promise absolute security.

8. Choices and rights

Depending on the customer's location, rights may include requesting access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and withdrawing consent where processing depends on consent. Requests can be sent to DA FABIO. Identity or order details may be requested when reasonably necessary to protect the customer.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

The Storefront may use essential storage for security, language, currency, cart or session functions. Optional analytics or marketing technologies should be used only in accordance with the consent requirements that apply. Browser controls may also limit storage, although essential functionality can be affected.

10. International processing, updates and contact

Some providers may process information in another country and should use the safeguards required by applicable law. This policy may be updated when the Storefront, providers or legal obligations change. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to DA FABIO. Review and adapt this starter policy to your actual providers, retention periods, legal bases and jurisdiction before publishing.
